I was wondering if I can store my paints in the fridge until we get our AC fixed? Will that adversely affect my paint? My wife says that I can't store my stash in there but that I can store my paints and glues in there. Our day time highs have been in the upper 90s with the humidity pushing 75%. Saturday we were at 100 degrees and had a Heat Index of 125!! It's been absolutely miserable at the house and trying to sleep at night is like sleeping in a sauna. I don't think putting them in the fridge would harm them any.

If you figure .... most of the time they're stored w/ temps ranging from 55-85 .... I agree. I don't think that storing them for a bit in 35-40 (depending on your fridges settings will really do anything. The only thing that I think might happen is that they'll thicken up a little. Maybe, again depending on how you store them now, turn them upside down and back once a week or so just to keep things moving..... Hope your sit gets better soon ...

It shouldn't hurt the paint any. When I paint my house at the end of the day if more painting is needed the next day I wrap the wet brushes in a plastic bag. The next day the paint is cold but after sitting at room temp can go right back to painting no problem at all. Hobby paint should react the same way and probably better since it is in a jar.
